Q: How Long Are The Physical Therapy Sessions?

Most sessions will last between 30-60 minutes. Unlike a traditional clinical insurance-based model, Marshall’s cash-based care gives you control to determine the number and frequency of your appointments to restore wellness. It could take as little as several appointments and as long as several years but feel confident that you will be well cared for during the entire process.

Q: Do You Offer Virtual Visits?

Yes. Dr. Marshall, PT, DPT has provided virtual visits for patients that desire it. Restoring your health can be achieved in a variety of different methods and Dr. Marshall, PT, DPT is flexible and knowledgeable in providing out-of-the-box treatments for his patients.

Do I Need A Doctor’s Referral?

Virginia is a Direct Access state which means that a patient can see Dr. Marshall, PT, DPT in a timely manner without an initial referral or unnecessary expensive tests. However, if the patient wants additional treatment beyond 60 days from the start of service, then a referral from their physician to continue physical therapy is required according to the law and regulation from the Board of Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.
