I was born and raised in Alexandria. As the youngest of three brothers, I was naturally the smallest. It was my lifelong desire to become bigger and stronger than both of them. That’s me on the right…but I guess you could have figured that out!
While attending St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes school I began my weight training and slowly, but surely, I became stronger and stronger. I continued my fitness regimen and during my college years at the University of Richmond, I decided to become a certified personal trainer.
I was employed by Belle Haven Country Club for several years training where I trained members and instructed group exercise classes. There I discovered that there was a missing link along the health continuum. My personal training clients wanted more mobility, more rehabilitation from injuries and a better quality of life that I could not fully provide. Given this revelation, I decided to step up my game and get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University. I graduated in May 2020 only to find out that the Covid lockdown was in full force and no one was hiring. I was not going to sit around and do nothing, so I decided to think outside box and come up with a creative business model that allowed me to go directly to those in need in the comfort and convenience of their homes. Voila, Marshall’s Mobile Physical Therapy was created!
When I’m not on the road working with my patients, I’m at home with my wife Lysa and our furry friend Tillie. Lysa is an awesome woman who is loving, caring and a third-grade teacher in Fairfax County. We love to go on hikes with our dog, compete in the gym, try new recipes in the kitchen, and hangout with family and friends.
